Online resource supports current and future entrepreneurs
ROUND ROCK, Texas – The Round Rock Chamber today announced that it has launched the Small Business Guide, a comprehensive resource to assist entrepreneurs and those considering following their entrepreneurship dreams in the Round Rock area. The online support tool can be found here.
Small businesses are the heartbeat of the community and tend to be the largest creator of new jobs. One of the chamber’s primary goals is to support a business climate in Round Rock that is conducive to small businesses, entrepreneurs, and startups. The Small Business Guide is intended to make the startup process easier and aims to strengthen business owners as they manage and grow their businesses.
“Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur still in the ideation phase or a business owner seeking to expand your venture to the next level, the Small Business Guide is designed to help you navigate the decisions associated with each phase of starting and growing your business,” said Monica Maher, the chamber’s vice president of community enhancement. “The chamber is proud to publish the expertise and insight within this guide and is looking ahead to cultivating and promoting more support resources for local entrepreneurs.”
The Small Business Guide is organized into three primary sections which include getting started, growing your business, and business resources. Assistance tools include a comprehensive business plan template, marketing and financial advice, and contact information for entities available to assist current and prospective business owners. The Small Business Guide provides insight for entrepreneurs throughout the various stages of their entrepreneurial journey and is designed to help direct the decisions associated with each phase of the endeavor. The guide is expected to play a significant role in the chamber’s upcoming community entrepreneurship strategy.
The chamber is dedicated to consistently updating the information within the guide to keep it current and relevant. The guide was published under a creative commons license with permission for revisions from the Baton Rouge Area Chamber.
